Record! Received dyed roving 6 May, spun and completed the knit hat on 12 May. Whoo hoo!
Click an image to see more detail. Pattern was my method of top down hat making. (click to get the free pattern).

 Noro? NOT!  Noro? NOT!

Noro? NOT!

Leah, known as "YarnOraTale" on Ravelry, sent me some lovely roving as a thank you for a file I made available on Ravelry. Leah sells her roving on Etsy - click to see her a sample of the roving before it became the "Noro? NOT! hat". I spun it up in singles and knit this hat within the week or the roving’s receipt! Wonderful. Noro? NOT!

Roving by YarnOraTale, Spun singles and hat by me, Charisa.

I LOVE this hat. Thank you Leah!

Very nice!
I love the hat. Excellent use of singles. I'm going to have to rethink all that plying I've been doing :)
